Last night was the night of my mom and stepdad’s annual Christmas party. Good friends, wine, meatballs, a keg and Sam’s Club cupcakes – oh, and a brand new sparkly shirt that goes perfectly with my new LOFT mini!
I say it’s new – really, I got it last year on sale for $6. I basically bought it because it was too good a deal to pass up. Sadly, I cannot wear it to work. But I have had my eye on it as my Christmas party outfit this whole year – because of course that’s how far I plan ahead for these things.

And yes, I broke down and bought hose. Black hose, which is years better than nude, but still. I love my black tights but they do have the unfortunate side effect of causing treetrunk legs with some outfits. And dammit if TLo wasn’t on the money recommending black hose.
