I woke up yesterday morning with an outfit ready to go and immediately rejected it. Along with the next one and the next one and the next one.

Finally in a fit of rage slight huff, I settled on this. A just-ok outfit. I HATE just-ok outfits. I want to completely and totally love every single outfit I wear, which is of course unrealistic. Sometimes a so-so, slightly blah outfit is ok, too.
These pants? The same ones as I wore yesterday. I told you I had them in three colors. They’re J. Crew Bennett chinos, and I hope they come back this fall because they are (obviously) my favorite pants.

I like this outfit! While I love your normal use of bright colors, I’m a big fan of neutrals and metallics and think this looks very chic. I’m also digging the monochromatic look on you!

I think this is a great outfit! But yeah, those “just okay” outfit days are never fun. We all have them. The pants are adorable! And I love the splash of color those flats add to the outfit. Lovely! So glad that I stumbled across your blog and can’t wait to read more in the future!

I so hate those days where you hate everything in your closet and feel like you have no fashionable clothes. I have those days farrrr too often, and end up settling for some form of jeans and a casual top. Worst. Days. Ever! But you look really cute! I think your “blah” outfit is actually quite cute!

I love these yellow flats!! About your CL Decollete question – I don’t consider this patent version to be all-day shoes, but it may be because I haven’t broken them in enough. The other pair I have, the non-patent Decoltissimos…I bought those second-hand and they were perfectly broken in and ready to go. I would consider those all day shoes. Hope this helps!
