outfit of the day: summer stripes

I’ve had this outfit planned since last year when I bought this dress and belt on major sale. No idea why I waited this long to wear it.

I replied to a comment from Lora a few blog posts ago that I very rarely wear neutrals – my outfits usually always have two three four pops of color. It’s just what I default to in the morning. (Usually in pink.) I have a ridiculous worry that my outfits will be boring – maybe that’s why brights are my go-to. While this outfit might be made up of mostly neutrals, I don’t think it’s boring at all – and I couldn’t resist but add pops of color through my jewelry!

      Oh I understand how you feel! They’ve done a great job in the last few years modernizing their clothes. Plus their shoes are some of my favorites! Definitely a Talbots fan here. :)
