It is unseasonably warm here – seriously, 80 this week and we may get snow on Halloween. Thus is life in Indiana. I might as well enjoy it, because it’s back to tights this weekend.
The absolute easiest way to wear a summer dress in the fall: throw on a blazer. This week I plan on pulling my warm weather dresses out one last time (maybe?) and showing how you can stretch your summer wardrobe into the fall.

We must be on the same wavelength because I wore a dress with a blazer yesterday. I agree – one of the best ways to adapt a fun summer dress to cooler temps! We in GA also have this goofy weather – you never know what to wear. It’s 40 in the morning and 75 by the afternoon.
By the way – I love this dress on you – it looks like it was made just for you!

Such a cute dress, Catherine!

Totally agree! Blazers are the perfect way to make all your summer dresses fall appropriate. A girl can never have too many blazers (or dresses)

I’m pretty jealous of your 80 degree days! It’s been nothing but doom and gloom up here.
Love his combination of soft blues and grey. I’m glad you are getting the chance to bust out those summer dresses one last time!
such an unusual pretty pattern to the dress! great idea to pair this with a blazer! perfect for transitioning through seasons!
I remember this dress from the summer because it’s so beautiful. Totally agree about the blazer for fall
You’re totally adorable.
I’ve been thinking all week that I’d better wear the things I can only wear when it is warm because this is likely the last hurrah for a while. I love summer dresses in the fall. Its so easy!
