my third stitchfix box

Happy Holidays! I received my third Stitchfix box last week and wanted to show you all what I received! If you’ve never heard of Stitchfix, it’s a fun online styling service that sends you five things whenever you request them! All you do is sign up, fill out a style survey and schedule your Fix. You pay $20 up front, which will apply to any item you decide to purchase. You can sign up here to get your own fix!

Love Riche scala crisscross top, $58

I think this color would have been better in early spring. I really don’t like crisscross backs, so immediately knew this wasn’t for me.

Press Audrina sweater tunic, $78

Oh how I wanted to love this item! The black and gold colors were festive and perfect for the holidays, and it was so comfy! Alas, oversized/tunic/boyfriend sweaters do NOT work with me – they make me seem bigger than I already am, so it had to go back.

Max and Cleo lace dress, $128

While I love lace, the beige color didn’t flatter my skin.

Kensie open back sweater, $68

Another example of a style that I never would buy. This is a sweater that I’d have to wear something under, and wouldn’t work for work – plus it also had an oversized feel to it. Loved the color, though! (The photo shows the back of the sweater.)

Nakamol earrings, $48

Lovely earrings that had a lux feel to them, and I decided to keep them. Unfortunately, they didn’t come with backs and I lost one the first day I wore them. MAJOR sadface.

Overall, I was pretty unsatisfied with this fix and wrote that in my comments reviewing my box. I also tweaked my style survey slightly in hopes that my next box will be more true to my individual style. One of the great things about Stitchfix is they are very responsive, so I have high hopes for my next fix!

  1. Sad that you didn’t like most of the stuff. The gold and black sweater looks really pretty, bummer that it didn’t work out :(

  2. So sad about losing your earring! I always rotate the plastic backs that come on some earrings and use them with pairs that come without so that I don’t lose them.

  3. I’m so sad about this! I’ve been wanting to try Stitchfix but this is exactly the kind of thing I’m worried about :/
