Yesterday was my birthday, and I was SO excited!! Usually Mondays are kind of a downer, but I. Love. My. Birthday. I make my mom tell me every year (after she calls and sings to me at 7 a.m.), “What were you doing at this EXACT moment __ years ago?” My dad has to tell me the same story when he calls me a few hours later. Presents and cards are savored and displayed for days. I may not be having a princess party with hats and streamers anymore, but I think we should all still get excited about birthdays. Life is worth celebrating.
And I also may have ordered that gorg Kate Spade purse I included in my birthday wishlist yesterday. Happy birthday to me.
