Who says you can’t wear spring pants in the winter? Well – me, I guess. I never thought of this color as a winter one, but all J. Crew’s iced lilac has changed my mind. Wearing black booties with pants in such a light color is definitely outside my comfort zone – I still can’t decide if I like the combo. But I definitely do like these pants! Ann Taylor’s modern fit is my new favorite one – I have two three pairs of cords in the same style and can’t get enough of them.
Yeah. For a moment there I forgot I have three pairs of the same pants (on sale! $40 for two pairs of nice cords! Come on, that is a damn good deal).
Speaking of indecision – the hat. It was definitely cold enough for it, but I felt like a dork. Also – my new purse! I am in love!

Those pants make me happy.
I personally LOVE pastels and black together. The boots are great, but the bag steals the show! Aren’t birthday gifts to yourself the greatest?
I love pastels with black, and think you pulled them together beautifully here. I’m so glad you treated yourself to this new bag for your birthday, it’s so classic and chic.
So in love with the color of your pants!!
LOVE the color of those pants, Catherine!
