what I typically wear on the weekends (the winter version)

I don’t do a lot of weekend outfit posts – or weekend posts, for that matter – honestly because my work outfits are more fun – and usually more creative. My weekend uniforms can be broken into two categories – before noon and after noon.

Before Noon

My favorite sleep shirts are J. Crew’s vintage tees. The amount I own is slightly embarrassing, but I try to snag them when they’re on sale. They’re super comfortable and cozy, and I’ll usually lounge for a while in one of them plus my PINK sweatshirt and matching pants. I love a good matching sweatsuit.

After Noon

I alternate between my two favorite pairs of jeans – my Target jeggings and my Gap Long & Leans. This winter I got Ugg slippers for Christmas, and they are the best shoes ever. I’m a major Ugg boot lover, but sometimes I get too hot in them. The slippers are perfect for running around the house or the neighborhood. Brian and I even wore ours on the plane to and from Arizona. Like I said, perfection. They’re even on my feet as I type this.

It’s not the most exciting look, but after a week of dressing up, I loathe being in anything but my sweats and jeans on the weekend. And once I get home from work, it’s a race to get into comfy clothes!

What do you like to wear on your off-time?

  1. The Winters are the hardest! I wish I had fuzzy slippers like that, but if I did, they might not ever leave my feet. EVER!
