NARS Schiap lipstick is appearing all over blogs this spring – to the point where it’s sold out online! (Seriously, I tried six different websites. It wasn’t in stock anywhere.) I love this lipstick so much, I lost a brand new tube of it and promptly turned around and bought a new one! (And then of course found my original tube a week later.) This color is rich, bright and appearing all over the place just in time for spring – but it also retails at $24 a tube. If you’re looking for a cheaper version of spring’s trendiest lipstick, I’ve found it!
Revlon Moon Drops lipstick in ‘persian melon’ is just as bright as the NARS version – plus it’s only $9! I don’t buy much drugstore makeup, but Revlon’s lipsticks are the exception. One thing I don’t like about NARS lipstick is how little it moisturizes my lips. You definitely won’t have that problem with Revlon Moon Drops.
On the left, I’m wearing NARS Schiap. On the right, I’m wearing Revlon Moon Drops persian melon. Can you tell the differnce?
Have you found any makeup deals lately?

Definitely can’t tell the difference! And I like that the cheaper version moisturizes more! Sweet score!
Ooh I was actually about to go out and buy the Schiap at Sephora but reading that it doesn’t moisturize makes me want the Revlon one more! Thanks for sharing!
I do love Nars’s colors – but definitely not a lipstick to try if you are looking for something moisturizing.
Such a pretty color, thanks for the head’s up!
So pretty! I wish I could pull off lipstick colors like that.
I think you totally could!! You should try.

Thanks so much for the follow!
I can’t think of anything better than finding a dupe!!! Yes, the highend brands are great but it’s even better to find a match for a fraction of the cost. Great find!!
